Hunter’s Heroes held its first Poker Run on Saturday, August 25th, 2012 – 1st Annual Ride for a Cure. Although the weather wasn’t what we wished for to accommodate a motorcycle ride, our turn out amazed us – rain didn’t keep them away and those on motorcycles braved the elements in Hunter’s memory. With the help of our supporters, Hunter’s Heroes was able to prepare 20 book bags filled with school supplies for pediatric onocology patients at Children’s. We also delivered a huge basket of art supplies for the Art Room on the Oncology Floor. While Hunter was inpatient, the Art Room was one of his most favorite places to be – a place where his imagination let him create some wonderful pieces of art that his parents have to treasure!...

On Saturday, August 4th, 2012, Hunter’s Heroes, Inc. participated in the Fids Fighting Cancer Softball Tournament. Our team of guys played great and Hunter’s little brother, Hayden, threw out one of the opening pitches in Hunter’s memory.
